Simon who came through the junior section at Taunton & Pickeridge and was the junior club champion in the early 1990’s wanted to give something back following his return to Somerset.

He is married with two young sons Henry 3 and Victor who is 10 months old and hopes that they will both follow him into golf and join the junior section just as he did.

The junior Academy at T&P has nearly 40 young boys & girls who clearly enjoy playing golf and look very smart in the new shirts and fleeces as you can see from the pictures taken during one of the weekly Monday club nights.

The junior section and the club wish to thank Simon and the parents for their support.

Hopefully, from the Academy, we will have many more club champions in the future!
